1. Do I need to own a Ford Thunderbird to join the club?
- While owning a Thunderbird is ideal, enthusiasts who appreciate the model are also welcome. Our club celebrates the love for Thunderbirds in all forms.
2. What is the cost of membership?
- Membership cost is $20 a year (prorated when joining during the year). Membership includes the entire household and for any number of vehicles. A welcome packet mailed to you will include membership cards, window cling and other items that may have been obtained from vendors and businesses associated with the club.
3. What types of events does the club organize?
- We host a variety of events including quarterly meetings, Spring and Fall cruises, Technical sessions, and attending car shows. There’s something for every Thunderbird enthusiast!
4. Are there any benefits to joining the Northwest Vintage Thunderbird Club?
- Absolutely! Members enjoy access to club events, a network of knowledgeable Thunderbird enthusiasts, and opportunities for learning and sharing maintenance, restoration, and history of your Thunderbird. The club has 40+ member families that collectively own over 50 Thunderbirds ranging from 1955 to 2005!
6. How often does the club meet, and where?
- The club holds meetings on the third Wednesday each quarter (January, April, July, October) and various events throughout the year. Locations vary, encompassing scenic drives around Oregon and Southwest Washington, gatherings at local venues known for their car-friendly spaces, and events hosted by the national clubs.

- Our members stay connected through our monthly newsletter, email, and Facebook. These platforms provide updates on upcoming events, club news, and a space for members to interact.
